CASE WV is sponsoring the second annual Teen Pregnancy Prevention poster contest. The poster contest is part of a national teen pregnancy prevention awareness campaign. The poster theme for this contest is #myfuture. Your poster should embody this theme. Judging will be based on research, knowledge, creativity and individuality. Poster entries will be accepted from February 24th through March 28th. This is a great opportunity to use your creative skills to make a difference. Participation in these types of campaigns is important for both personal growth and your future. Scholarship donors and colleges are looking for students who are active in their communities. The Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center invites you to Campus Visitation Day on March 22 from 1:00-4:00. The Aviation Center prepares you for unique career opportunities and certification in the dynamic field of aviation, offering both 2 and 4 year degrees. This training leads to jobs with some of the largest international companies in the avaiation industry who are currently seeking certified aviation professionals. Sixteen of our Maverick students will be traveling to Mineral Wells, WV on Friday, March 14th to participate in the Youth Leadership Association Model United Nations. This is a three day event, and we are excited to be offering this opportunity to our students. Good luck MAVS!

The Hamilton Leaders Academy is a three year, no student cost program that helps students gain acceptance to college and transition successfully to university life and the work force. Winners will receive a $500 cash scholarship, leadership training in Seattle, and more. Applicants must be college-bound juniors who demonstrate academic strength, commitment to community service, and financial need. The application deadline is March 5th.
