The JMHS National Honor Society surprised Mrs. Weikle with a banner and basket filled with goodies for Assistant Principal appreciation week. Mrs. Weikle is very supportive of her students, and her efforts have not gone unnoticed. Maverick students involved in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club at MCTC competed at the state competition today. Seven of Mrs. McPherson's students are eligible to travel to the national competition in Atlanta, Georgia. The winners are listed below. This is the eighth straight year our students have qualified for nationals. Great job Mavericks!

The Maverick cadets brought home 1st place finishes in color guard and unarmed platoon beating Fishburne Military School for these top placements! Additionally, the Mavericks took 2nd place in Individual Armed Drill with Sean Miller placing 2nd overall in the Individual Knockout Drill. Our Maverick cadets ALWAYS make us proud!
