Rethink Your Drink is a campaign to reduce sugary drink consumption. More and more of us West Virginians are becoming concerned about soda (pop) and other sugary drinks. Every day it seems like we hear about a new health problem that is linked to getting too much sugar. Whether it’s Type 2 diabetes (high blood sugar), obesity, tooth decay or heart disease, there’s nothing sweet about getting sick or dying younger than we should.
This contest involves submitting either a poster or video to [email protected]. Any student or group of students K-12 may enter the Rethink Your Drink poster/video contest. The grand prize is a water bottle filling station for our school. The deadline is September 28th, 2018 so get busy creating that poster or video with your students. Any K-12 student or group of students may submit either a poster or video (or both). Multiple submissions are accepted. Rethink Your Drink is all about choosing healthy beverages like water or unflavored milk, so keep that in mind! Good luck to all participants!!
