Beckley Area Foundation Scholarship Application
The link above is the access portal for scholarships available through the Beckley Area Foundation. The application opens on January 5, 2024.
A new scholarship is available to students. The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to eight consecutive semesters. Please stop by guidance for more information about the requirements or view the webpage linked here.

Vaccination Information
Upcoming seniors make sure to meet your shot requirements prior to the first day of school. They are also required prior to the start of fall sports practice if your student plans on participating in sports. Pursuant to WV state code, students must show proof they received a dose of Tdap vaccine, which protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. Students entering the 12th grade must also show proof of the second dose of meningococcal (meningitis) vaccine BEFORE the first day of school, as well asall other required vaccines up to date. Seniors shall submit Well Child and dental exams within the last twelve months (sports physicals do not meet this requirement).
Records can be faxed to 304-772-5020 Attn: Jessica Thomas or emailed to [email protected]. For more information, contact Jessica Thomas, BSN, RN, NCSN Monoroe County Certified School Nurse at 304-772-3094 Ext. 322. Students without required health records will not be permitted to attend school if not up to date.
