James Monroe High School Senior Award's Day was held outdoors on the campus of JMHS on May 21st at 9:00 am. During the ceremony, seniors were awarded over $500,000 in scholarship monies recognizing their diligence in academics and extra-curriculars during their time at James Monroe. Almost $40,000 worth of these scholarships came directly from local civic organizations in Monroe and Greenbrier counties. We are truly blessed to live in a giving area where value is placed on education. In addition, Monroe County State and County Scholar designations were announced.
