James Monroe High School students, grades 9 through 12 were trained April 9th, 2019 on the content standards of the nationally recognized Stop The Bleed program, a national program through the Homeland Security initiative. The goals of the program are to Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Many thanks to Kelly Crosier, CCT, NREMT-P and Doug Douglas-RN, CRFN, for organizing this campaign for James Monroe High School.
