The James Monroe High School Honor Society traveled to Lewisburg to visit the North House Museum on October the 25th 2018. The group was treated to small group tours of exciting exhibits illustrating our colorful history of the area. Exhibits such as unmasking an ancient globe, learning about African American businesses in the early nineteen hundreds, and seeing prints of turkeys being herded down Main Street Lewisburg added excitement to the day! The tour ended with a scavenger hunt in the cemeteries where students learned facts about Civil War soldiers. The group then traveled to Jim's Drive-In to enjoy hamburgers and milkshakes.
