For All 9th, 10th, and 11th graders:
Are you a problem solver? Do you imagine how things might be “if only….”? You will have the chance to use your dreams, skills and techniques to start, scale, and sustain innovative businesses if you attend the Governor’s School of Entrepreneurship (GSE) in 2020. The GSE is a unique high-school summer entrepreneurship program that places a strong emphasis on innovation and design as elements of creating a sustainable business model. GSE teaches critical life and work skills of problem-solving, teamwork, and iteration in an environment where it is safe to fail. The Governor’s School of Entrepreneurship (GSE) and the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) are excited about our joint venture with Marshall University to provide an outstanding, free opportunity for our high school students that exemplifies our strategy to create small businesses to energize the economy of West Virginia. You may attend even if you have been to GSE before. The application deadline is March 30th. Please share this information with your parents. If I can be of assistance, feel free to contact me by email at [email protected]. You may reach me by phone at 304-640-0988.
